Its one thing to come up with a good idea, but it’s certainly another to effectively come through with that idea. Sadly, the Shoes Under product line falls right into this category. If you haven’t seen it before, the infomercial is actually pretty good. The Shoes Under product is meant to be a space saving organizer for your shoes. In the infomercial, individuals are shown storing many different kinds of shoes, inside of a storage organizer, without any problems whatsoever. Although, from what we’ve heard, the actual Shoes Under product doesn’t live up to the hype.

Like we said, the idea is a great one. Having a place to store all of your socks and shoes, in an area that you aren’t properly using: maybe some stackable storage space in the closet, under a desk, beneath your bed, etc. Unfortunately, the Shoes Under product comes to you as flimsy as they could possibly make it. It’s certainly not the same product that is shown within the commercial. Like space saver bags, Shoes Under are meant to be an effective way to store your shoes, when to be honest, they aren’t even worth the small price tag. They’re also meant to cut down on clutter and keep your shoes from dust, moisture and bugs. The bags that they send to you are very unstable and aren’t properly structured to carry any type of weight, making the bag hard to manage, and store easily.

Not to mention, if you don’t order online, the phone system they have you deal with is very deceptive. There are a few different options to upgrade to the deluxe version, add faster shipping, add more Shoes Under to your order, all very classic ways to up sell you while you’re trying to order.

Now, don’t get us wrong, we’re definitely not bashing the idea behind Shoes Under; we’re simply claiming that the y product just isn’t quite as it’s represented. If they had spent a little more time on the quality and construction of the material, this would be a much better product, and we would certainly recommend it.

If you’re looking to store shoes for a greater amount of time, and would like to pick up a higher quality product, a set of space saver bags would certainly be more cost effective, and efficient.
